Smoky Chipotle Chicken Wrap
Ingredients (for 3-4 wraps)
1️⃣ Chipotle Chicken Marinade
• 2 large chicken breasts (about 600 g / 1.3 lb), sliced into strips
• 3–4 chipotle peppers in adobo
• 4 garlic cloves
• 1 small onion
• 1 tbsp Mayo
• 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
• Juice of 1/2 lime
Seasoning : paprika (1 tbsp), chili (1 tsp),garlic powder (1 tsp), cumin (1 tsp)
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper to taste
2️⃣ Creamy Chipotle Sauce
• Half of the prepared marinade (reserve before adding chicken)
• 2 tbsp mayo
Mix the reserved marinade with additional mayo until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Fresh Crunchy Salad
• 1 red onion sliced
• 1 medium cucumber chopped
• 1 red bell pepper
• 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
• 1 tbsp honey
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• 1 tbsp Avocado Oil (or olive oil)
• Salt to taste
4️⃣ Assembly
• 3–4 large lavash breads (about 300 g / 10 oz total)
Optional: French fries inside
Instructions:
1. Make the marinade
Blend chipotle peppers, garlic, onion, Mayo, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
2. Marinate the chicken
Coat sliced chicken with half of the marinade (reserve the rest). Refrigerate up to 2 hours for best flavor.
3. Cook the chicken
Heat a skillet with a drizzle of Oil. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
4. Make the sauce
Mix the reserved marinade with 2 tbsp mayo. Adjust salt and lime to taste.
5. Prepare the salad
Toss red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, and parsley with honey, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
6. Assemble & toast
Spread sauce on lavash, add chicken and salad (plus fries if desired). Roll tightly and toast 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
