In 1912, seeking better opportunities, he moved to England, where he published his first poetry collections, A Boy’s Will (1913) and North of Boston (1914). These works established his voice, rooted in rural life and deep philosophical reflection. Returning to the United States in 1915, Frost gained widespread acclaim. Over the years, he became one of America’s most celebrated poets, known for works like The Road Not Taken and Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. He won four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry, a rare and remarkable achievement. Despite personal tragedies, including the loss of several children, Frost continued to write with resilience and depth. His poetry often explored themes of nature, choice, isolation, and human struggle. In his later years, Frost became a national literary figure and even recited a poem at President John F. Kennedy’s inauguration in 1961. Robert Frost passed away on January 29, 1963, in Boston, Massachusetts, leaving behind a timeless legacy in American literature.
