This silly coastal carpet Python had mistaken the smell and feel of two dog toys for food! It managed to swallow an entire pink elephant toy, and was starting to swallow the second one when Wooly arrived.
Not long after the camera was turned off, the hose annoyed the snake enough that it unlatched from the second toy. The snake was taken straight up to the wildlife hospital for immediate surgery to remove the pink elephant toy. The surgery was SUCCESSFUL and the snake is now in recovery!
